At G3Growth Advisors, we have spent the last 20 years working with mid market companies helping them to achieve their growth objectives. We have coached many dozens of CEO's, Founders, & their leadership teams to achieve Rapid Financial Results and Lasting Cultural Change

During that time, we have developed practical no-nonsense effective tools that when utilized properly and carefully, can help guide companies to rapidly achieve high levels of year over year growth.  

We have searched for and become certified in the best and most effective coaching methodologies, frameworks, and operating systems available on the market today.  At G3Growth Advisors, we are now creating an access point for you and your team to utilize these tools in a variety of ways.  

We will continue to coach mid-market CEOs and their leadership teams to grow and scale their company's, and in the process continuously test and improve our tools and methods.  

But now at G3Growth Advisors, we are providing a cost effective and efficient method for for smaller companies to realize similar growth objectives.  

Companies with fewer than 20 employees can now grow and scale using the same tools and techniques their counterparts in larger companies have been using for years.  Firms of this size or less comprise over 95% of all companies in the United States.  And most have not been able to gain access to these processes or materials, until now. 

We exist to help solopreneurs, and micro-small businesses (teams of under 20 people) start, grow, and manage their business with online content and tools in multiple offerings.

Our founder, Michael Langhout started as a sales manager in a fortune 100 packaging company, where he worked with increasing levels of responsibilities.  Later, he founded several companies in three different market verticals.  As an entrepreneur, building and growing companies was a big part of his early education.  

During a career pivot in 2001, he founded the company Langhout International, LLC.  There, his objectives were to utilize the knowledge he had gained over his career to help entrepreneurs not make the same mistakes he had made, and to grow their companies with confidence and predictability.  The coaching tools available for scaling a company were quite different and less developed than those available today. 

Over the years we saw that founders and small business owners were consumed with what they knew (i.e. how to design, sell, finance, or make their products or services).  They were specialists, and very talented in their respective field.  But there was something missing...  

We saw they didn't have the tools or skills to make their companies grow profitably.  

So we decided to build an online portal to provide access to the tools to help the founders of small to medium enterprises (SME) do a better more effective job of building, managing, and growing their companies, so they can focus on what they love doing - serving their clients.

After 10 years of building and tinkering in the background on our own intellectual property, coaching certifications, and applied technology, we decided to create G3Growth Advisors and offer it to the marketplace of small businesses.

G3 Growth Journey Stories

SEPTEMBER, 2001

Langhout International Founded.

Langhout International, the parent company to G3Growth, was founded  in the fall of 2001.  The company initially focused on lean manufacturing within the packaging industry, but quickly changed to strategy consulting with early-stage companies.  

Mr. Langhout utilized his experience as a consultant and developed a process of strategic thinking and execution planning that led to the success of several startup companies.

The Growth Coaching practice was developed from extensive work in strategy thinking and execution planning, along with cultural aspects and financial health.

Today, G3Growth coaching incorporates a blended approach of methodologies and frameworks.  Mr. Langhout is certified in the coaching processes of the Great Game of Business©, Metronomics©, The Why of You, Powered by PRINT©, and Topgrading©, among others.

2003-2008

A Solution to Accessible Health Care; Audient Hearing Healthcare.

The first engagement was to start Audient, a healthcare services provider which successfully aligned suppliers, providers, and patients in the hearing healthcare space.  This company was started in collaboration with Sightlife.  

Hearing loss is one of the world’s most frequent health indications, representing one of largest unmet clinical needs.  Audient was formed in cooperation with Sightlife in the spring of 2003, and Mr. Langhout led the efforts to develop a unique business model that eventually provided access to medical professionals and hearing instruments to thousands of patients worldwide.  People with hearing loss who were disenfranchised and not able to afford the high cost of hearing instruments via existing channels now were able to gain the gift of hearing.

OCTOBER 2008

Venture Capital Journey; Silere Medical Technology.  2008 - 2013

After successfully exiting Audient, Mr. Langhout joined Dr. Jay Rubenstein, MD., PhD, and Mr. Van Harrison as founding CEO in the startup company Silere Medical Technologies.  Dr. Rubenstein had served on the board of the previous company Audient and had developed some critical intellectual property that he and his partner Mr. Harrison were commercializing.  Mr. Harrison led the engineering team at Advanced Bionics that developed and commercialized the most advanced cochlear implant to that date.  Mr. Langhout led this company from its founding in 2008, until exiting in 2013.  The company sought Institutional Venture Capital, and developed several patents, but was closed at the end of 2013 due to insufficient capital to support continued operations.  

2014 - PRESENT

Dynamic Business Growth Coaching; G3Growth

After decades developing companies in three diverse market verticals, Mr. Langhout found that many CEOs are frustrated with lack of accountability, sluggish growth, and low profitability.   Their employees want to love to come to work, to express their ideas and be heard and to contribute to the success of the organization.  Unfortunately, many companies don’t ever experience that level of employee engagement.

In the fall of 2014, Mr. Langhout founded G3Growth Advisors, a division of Langhout International Consulting.  Since then, he has added certifications in Scaling Up, TopGrading, The Great Game of Business, and Metronome United.  These certifications, along with 40 years of experience, have allowed the company to successfully guide and mentor CEO’s and their leadership teams as they set and achieve Big Hairy Audacious Goals™.  Dozens companies have achieved rapid financial success, lasting cultural change, and confidence through the coaching process.  Through effective coaching, CEOs have learned to close the gap between their vision, and the reality of their current situation.    

A fourth certification was added to support individual 1:1 Executive Coaching, which compliments the growth coaching practice.  The Paul Hertz Group developed ‘The Why of You, Powered by PRINT’ assessment, a powerful tool to understand the unconscious motivators behind the behaviors of the CEO and those on the leadership team.  The resulting changes in behavior through Executive Coaching using the ‘PRINT’ process allows individuals a higher level of performance, deeper interaction with other team members, with far less drama and wasted time. 

Simply put, we help companies grow. Our 10 YEAR BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to ‘Impact the Lives of 10,000 Leaders’, and we will do that by providing accessible learning via an online learning platform, along with individual business growth coaching, executive coaching, and roundtable learning which:

Philotimo.  (φιλότιμον) broadly translated "covetous of honor".  A Greek word without a direct translation into English, describing a way of life. It represents the highest of all Greek virtues, aspiring to a creed of Duty, Honor, Veracity, Dignity, Integrity, and Character.  The Apostle Paul referenced Philotimo in his New Testament Books, including Romans 15:20, 2nd Corinthians 5:9, and 1st Thessalonians 4:11.   

Truth and Grace 100% balanced, like the wing of an airplane.  Getting to the truth can be painful for some due mainly to arrogance and pride.  Truth, balanced with Grace, lifts up and honors the human element.  

Keep it 100.  Radical Transparency.  100% Transparent; 100% Authentic. 100% Real.  Keep it 100 is taken from the experience of those incarcerated around the world.  It is a standard by which prisoners everywhere can aspire.  Practicing radical transparency combined with empathetic listening accelerates growth in a person’s character.  

Enter the Danger with Courage.  Embrace conflict by asking the difficult questions and staying on point when the discussion gets uncomfortable.  It is through discomfort that we find the most growth.   

Fail Fast / Succeed Faster.  Achieve rapid growth and scale through experimentation and trial.  If we are not constantly pushing and stressing the limits of our abilities, strategies, and tactical execution, we will not grow as humans and in business.  Testing and failing fast will get us to the next iteration of our process in our growth journey.  Fast failure accelerates maximum learning

As a serial entrepreneur and former CEO in three diverse industry verticals, Michael brings a deep experience helping clients grow, generating higher levels of financial performance and enterprise value.  He enjoys helping mid-market CEO’s and their leadership teams formulate strategic direction with profitable execution.
